On March 18th, 1911, Theodore Roosevelt dedicated Roosevelt Dam at the juncture of Tonto Creek and the Salt River. This drive is filled with history and some of the best scenery in Arizona. At Fish Creek Vista, you’ll have about 20 minutes to take the concrete walkway to the overlook of Fish Creek Canyon.
